On 19 DEC 1872 when William was 40, he second married Jessie FORBES, daughter of Finlay FORBES & Janet. Registration Year:1872-Book:1831-Page:84-Number: 203. Rev. D. Munroe. Witnesses: Finley Fraser and Finlay Fraser! Born in 1836 in Hopewell, Nova Scotia, Canada.
There are no dates or headstone for Jessie Forbes. And there is no family documented.

Jessie and William were both widowers when they married. He was 40, she was 36. AT the time of their marriage, he lived at West Branch, East River and she lived at East Branch, East River.

On the marriage record it says Jessie Forbes (Late Fraser). I do not know, for certain, if her maiden name is Forbes or Fraser. But the witnesses were named Finley Fraser and Finlay Fraser!
On 8 MAY 1888 when William was 55, he third married Marion MACDONALD, daughter of Duncan MACDONALD & Lydia MACDONALD. Born in 1846 in McLellan’s Mountain, Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Canada. Marion died on 15 AUG 1901; she was 55. Gravestone says Died Aug 15, 1900 Aged 58 years. Buried in Elgin Cemetery. Was on the census for 1891 Census. Alias/AKA: /McDonald/. in Rev. A. Rogers.
Marion MacDonald and William Weir appear in the 1881 Census both age 34 (DOB 1847). The marriage record shows her age as 36 (DOB 1845) married in Albion Mines.

After the death of her husband, William Weir, Marion and her son Edwin lived with WIlliam Mackenzie and they all appear on the 1891 Census of Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Canda. After the death of his mother, Edwin moved to Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. He had no known offspring.
On 14 JAN 1903 when William was 70, he fourth married Margaret CAMERON. Alias/AKA: /Cameron/. in Rev. A. Rogers.
There are no dates, no headstone, and no known family for Margaret Cameron.
3. Christine MACKENZIE. Born ABT 1839 in Centredale, Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Canada. Christine died on 7 APR 1877; she was 38. Buried in Gays River Cemetery, Nova Scotia, Canada.
On 8 FEB 1865 when Christine was 26, she married John ELLIOTT, son of William ELLIOTT & Mary Ann. Rev. John Alexander. Witnesses: R.E. Elliott and N. Sibley. John went from Centreville, Nova Scotia to Macias, Maine probably because of lumbering. He served in the Union Army during the American Civil War. He never saw action. He returned to Westville, Nova Scotia about 1882. He was a blacksmith in the Drummond Mine in Westville. John McKenzie married Jane Black from Macias, Maine and they returned to Westville, Nova Scotia where they raised a large family. They had daughters, Isabel and Christie along with eight other children.
